Nuevo Community Church changed its name to Olive Grove Church in April of 2012. Far from
simply being a faddish change, the movement to Olive Grove Church reflects a
desire to begin a new era of ministry and presence in Nuevo. Find two documents

Olive Grove Church – Purpose Statement
We exist to Worship with passion, share Christ’s love, and grow in faith and obedience.
A Focus Upward: Worshiping with Passion
This church exists to glorify God by equipping the saints for the spiritual service of worship, with the result that every man woman and child who is part of the church in Nuevo will be transformed by the renewing their mind and will fulfill their purpose as chosen vessels called to the praise of the glory of His grace, truly cultivating a thankfulness filled people.
A Focus Outward: Sharing Christ’s Love
This church exists to glorify God by equipping the saints for the work of the ministry, with the result that every man, woman and child has the opportunity to hear and understand the Gospel and accept or reject Jesus as their personal Saviour, and that every member becomes actively involved in the completion of the Great Commission in foreign lands.
A Focus Inward: Growing in Faith and Obedience
This church exists to glorify God by equipping the saints for the work of the ministry, with the result that every man, woman and child who is part of the church in Nuevo will be conformed to the image of Christ, attaining the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God, that is maturity in Christ.
