Steve Bagdanov | Pastor

Steve is a native of Southern California, originally from the Los Angeles area. He has been married to Kelly for 30 years. They have four sons, Tim, Levi, Caleb, and Joe. After 6 years of pastoring a church in Orange County, Steve came to Nuevo in May of 1991. He holds a M. Div. from Talbot Theological Seminary (’85) and a B.A. in religious studies and philosophy from Westmont College (’81).
Dan Flores | Pastor

Raised in Nuevo, Dan recently joined the pastoral team, returning to the place of his roots. He has been married to Jolene for 5 years. They have two little ones, Christian and Jonathan. Dan has been in pastoral and college campus ministry for 10 years. He holds a M. Div. from Talbot School of Theology (’06) and a B.A. in history and classical studies from the University of California, Riverside (’02).
Tony Nunez | Hispanic Pastor

Tony has lived in the Nuevo area for more than 18 years. He has been married to Eva for 26 years. They have three sons, Ismael, Anthony, and David. Tony has been the pastor of the hispanic ministry at NCC for five years.

JoAnne first came to NCC attracted to the ministry programs for her family. Nineteen years later, she continues to serve the church as the administrative/ministry programming assistant. As she sees it, the most fulfilling aspect of her job is enabling people to discover thier God-given abilities and put them to use for service in the church: “the reward is watching people find thier sweet spot for serving God.”
Shelly Morin | Worship

Shelly is an accomplished songwriter and worship leader. She has been leading worship at NCC for 10 years and serving on worship teams her whole life. Shelly has that unique ability to make singing and the Word an interconnected and unified experience.
Ron Provost | Grounds/Maintenance

Ron ensures that the grounds and facilities of NCC are in pristine order for the many ministries that gather throughout the week. He is married to JoAnne and together, they will celebrate their 38th wedding anniversary later this year. They have one son Timothy and two daughters Corrie and Katie.
